English Classes
15 hours per week. On the first day, students are tested and placed in an English class based on their level. Students learn all the English skills including speaking, reading, writing, grammar, listening and vocabulary. The camp takes place on the campus of University of Toronto, Mississauga Campus.
Activities and Excursions
ESL summer camp at Mississauga combines English classes with instructional and recreational activities, sightseeing tours and social and cultural events. Campers participate in a variety of exciting activities including: Blue Jays Baseball Game, Royal Ontario Museum, Bowling, CN Tower, Toronto Zoo, Casa Loma, Canada’s Wonderland, Ontario Science Centre, Niagara Falls and more.
Residence Accommodation
Campers have the option to live on campus. The modern residence on campus features private rooms with semi-private washrooms, bright and clean dining facilities and spacious common areas. Students arrive and depart on Sundays.
Meals on campus are served buffet style, 7 days a week.
Homestay Accommodation
All host families are carefully selected. Students are provided with a private room and half board, ie. breakfast and dinner 7 days a week. During the week, that is Monday to Saturday, homestay students will have lunch at the school cafeteria. On Sunday they will have lunch with the host family.
Day Camp
If you already have your own accommodation, the children can attend as day students. The Camp runs from Monday to Saturday each week. There is no camp on Sunday for day campers.
